POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP
VISION AND VIRTUAL REALITY LAB
YORK CENTRE FOR VISION RESEARCH, TORONTO, CANADA

The York Centre for Vision Research is expanding its virtual reality
facilities, and is seeking a post-doctoral researcher to participate in
a new programme of research in 3D visual attention and virtual reality.
The position affords the opportunity to combine purely scientific
studies of visual processing with more applied studies of human
performance in virtual environments. We seek an individual with
experience in psychophysical methods, good programming skills, and an
interest in 3D human vision, visual attention, eye movements, computer
vision, and/or virtual reality. Salary is competitive. Starting date
is flexible. Applications will be accepted until the position is
filled.

The York Centre for Vision Research is an interdisciplinary centre
spanning the Departments of Psychology, Computer Science, Biology and
Philosophy. The Centre comprises 16 faculty, 15 post-doctoral fellows,
and roughly 40 graduate students. Members pursue fundamental research
in visual, vestibular and auditory perception, eye-movements, computer
vision, virtual reality and robotics.
