VisionScienceList: Sources of Multispectral Retinal Imagery
Wed, 20 Jan 1999 09:21:20 EST
Our vision group is seeking sources of multispectral retinal images for
analysis. Our goal is to improve diagnostic techniques for various retinal
diseases. Our interests are in both the visible and near infrared regions
(approx. 400-1100nm). Reasonable spectral imaging bandwidths would range from
10 - 50 nm with sufficient sampling density to cover the wavelength region
sampled. Three spectral bands would be minimal (e.g., an RGB image cube)
whereas 10 or more spectral bands would be most appropriate.
We are interested in retinal image cubes from both healthy and pathological
(e.g., diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, etc.)
samples. If you have or are knowledgeable of any representative sources of
such imagery it would be greatly appreciated.
