A postdoctoral research post is available in the MacKay Institute of Communication and Neuroscience, Keele University. The project will involve psychophysical research and modelling of human perception and is an investigation of the chromatic selectivity of global motion perception. It will require programming with the VSG graphics card (CRS). A Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology, Computer Science, Physics or Maths would be useful, but candidates from all backgrounds will be considered. The post is funded by the Wellcome Trust and the project is in collaboration with the University of Liverpool. The salary will be on the Research 1A Scale, according to age and experience. The post is available immediately and needs to be taken up before June 2000 and will be for a 3 year period.
