Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology: Washington College invites
applications for a one-year visiting assistant professorship in the
Psychology Department. In the fall, the successful candidate will be
expected to teach courses in Sensation & Perception w/laboratory and Drugs,
Society & Behavior. The courses that will be taught in the spring can be
determined in consultation with the department, but the greatest need is
for someone who would be able to offer Learning w/laboratory and an
upper-level research-oriented methods course in the candidate's area of
expertise or History & Systems of Psychology. Applicants with a doctorate
in psychology are preferred, but ABD candidates for the position will also
receive full consideration. Applicants should send a letter of application,
graduate transcripts, (p)reprints of publications, teaching evaluations and
three letters of recommendation to Dr. George Spilich, Chair, Psychology
Department, Washington College, 300 Washington Avenue, Chestertown MD
