The Wenderoth Perception Laboratory at Macquarie University has a vacancy for a Post-Doctoral researcher in the field of visual psychophysics. The appointment would be until the end of December 2001 in the first instance, but with probable opportunity for extension. Desirable attributes are experience in visual psychophysics as evidenced by recent publications, and familiarity with graphics programming using Silicon Graphics or Cambridge Research Systems hardware. Equally important is the ability to interact with the other members of this friendly and productive lab. The lab has a number of SGI, Macintosh and PC computers.

Macquarie University is situated in beautiful Sydney, Australia - check out the pictures of Sydney in winter on our Web pages - see http://vision.psy.mq.edu.au/~peterw. Sydney has a lively vision community, with regular meetings of groups interested in perception and visual physiology. The lab also has strong links with other groups in Australia and overseas.
