    The WAICV will be held together with SBIA'2000 - The Brazilian AI
    Symposium and IBERAMIA'2000 - The Ibero-American AI Conference, November

    19-22 2000, Atibaia, São Paulo, Brazil.

    The WAICV invites researchers in computer vision,
    artificial intelligence, signal and image processing, medical imaging,
    physics, engineering and other areas to submit papers on any related
    topic. The papers should be submitted electronically (postscript
    version, by email) to:

    Accepted papers will be published in an electronic proceedings to be
    made available through the WWW from the WAICV homepage. The
    SBIA/IBERAMIA organizers are considering the possibility of the
    production of a hard-copy version of the workshop proceedings.

    Instructions for Authors:

    The papers should be submitted electronically (by email)
    as a postscript document in the following format:

    Paper size: A4 (210 x 297mm) with 20mm left and right margins and 40mm
    upper and lower margins.

    Font characters: Times Roman or Arial.

    Spacing between lines: Single spacing.

    Authors: Authors identification should be omitted in the paper during
    the submission phase.

    Text and paper size: Maximum of 4 pages, two columns.
