    seeks to fill a position in cognitive psychology at the Assistant Professor
    level. The Department offers a Ph. D. in Psychology with concentrations in
    Brain and Cognitive Science, Clinical, and Social Psychology and has a
    strong reputation for undergraduate education. The applicant's primary
    research may be in any area of perception or cognition. It is expected that
    candidates will have applied interests that will enable them to contribute
    to a program in human factors and ergonomics and that their expertise will
    permit them to offer graduate course work in quantitative methods. The
    successful candidate must have completed the Ph.D. by August 1, 2002 and
    will be responsible for establishing a research program in their area of
    graduate and undergraduate teaching and supervision of doctoral research.
    Women and minorities are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should
    submit a letter describing research and teaching interests and experience,
    evidence of applied interests, a vita, representative reprints and three
    of recommendation to: Dr. Leonard S. Mark, Cognitive Search Committee Chair,

    applications will begin on December 15, 2001 and continue until the
