Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Research Fellow in 
visual psychophysics in the Department of Psychology, UCL. This is for an 
EPSRC funded project on human vision, carried out in the Laboratory headed 
by Dr. Li Zhaoping. Our laboratory is mainly interested in studying the 
pre-attentive and attentive mechanisms in vision, using both theoretical 
and psychophysical approaches (see 
http://www.gatsby.ucl.ac.uk/~zhaoping/lab.html). The candidate must be 
sufficiently familiar with general visual psychophysics knowledge, and 
skilled at the usual experimental techniques, including experimental 
design, hardware set-up, and programming. The candidate must also be 
interested in collaborating with modellers in the laboratory and be good at 
team works, although mathematical skills are among the requirements.

Salary on the RA1A scale ie (£20,399-£29,473 inclusive of London
