RESEARCH ENGINEER POSITION
IN MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING

_Subject: medical image processing, image visualization

Description : Studies about brain maturation aim at providing a better 
understanding of brain development and links between brain changes and 
cognitive development. Such studies are of great interest for diagnosis 
help and clinical course of development and treatment of illnesses. This 
project aims at going beyond the formal description of the brain 
maturation thanks to the development of a realistic numerical model of 
brain aging.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:

    * Drive imaging-related software development
    * Drive application requirements to implementation
    * Develop medical image processing algorithms and image
      visualization tools
    * Rapidly prototype algorithm pipelines on Linux PC in C++
    * Actively work as part of a research team in implementing the
      required solutions as defined in the specifications and plans

Requirements
The candidate should be familiar with image processing.
The candidate must also have excellent knowledge of C++, Python and 
visualization toolkits.

Duration: 2 to 3 years
Salary: depending on experience (gross salary starting from 2300 
euros/month).
