Faculty position in Ocular Physiology at the University of Arizona

 

The Departments of Ophthalmology & Vision Science and Physiology are jointly
recruiting a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the area of
ocular physiology. Candidates with expertise in any area of ocular
physiology and an interest in teaching (partial state salary support
included) are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Ph. D., M.D., or
M.D./Ph.D. , a publication record demonstrating high-impact research and a
strong funding record (or funding potential). Existing research strengths at
the University of Arizona include lens physiology, aqueous humor dynamics,
and retinal physiology. The successful candidate will have laboratory and
office space in the new Medical Research Building on the Medical Campus of
the University of Arizona with state-of-the-art facilities. A wide range of
graduate programs and training grants are available to support graduate
students and postdoctoral fellows.
