<pre style="">The laboratory of Jay Hegdé at the Brain Discovery Institute at the Medical College of Georgia has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral researcher.<o:p></o:p></pre>

<pre style="">We study the neural mechanisms of visual perception as statistical (Bayesian) inference. <span
style=""> </span>We use a variety of research methods, including multiunit recordings in awake, behaving monkeys, fMRI in humans and monkeys, psychophysics and computational modeling. <span
style=""> </span>Strongly motivated, self-driven individuals with prior experience in at least one of these fields and the desire to gain expertise in one or more of the others are especially encouraged to apply.<o:p></o:p></pre>
