We invite the submission of papers to the 3rd International Conference on
Applications in Optics and Photonics (AOP 2017), which will be held May
8-12, 2017 in Faro, Algarve, Portugal.

Research in Applications of Optics and Photonics is continuously evolving
with remarkable and exciting recent developments, all over the world. After
the success of the first two editions in 2011 and 2014, the Portuguese
Society for Research and Development of Optics and Photonics, SPOF, is
organizing the III International Conference on Applications in Optics and
Photonics, AOP2017, which will be held in Faro, Algarve, Portugal, on May 8
to 12, 2017.

This forum will be an excellent opportunity to increase in an open friendly
environment the external visibility of participant’s research works and to
establish sound mutually beneficial cooperation relationships among
research institutions, the industry, higher education institutions and
scientific societies committed to the promotion of Optics and Photonics and
of its impact in the development of the society. The exhibit area apart
from the display of scientific and technical equipment, will host boots of
research labs and industries in order to promote and facilitate the
setting-up of future new collaborations.

Open to contributions in all topics of Optics and Photonics and
application’ fields, with this conference we set the state-of-the-art in
the subject foreseeing the lines of development on next decade. We are
looking forward to welcome the optics and photonics community and our
friends from all over the world.
