The European higher education excellence meeting worldwide colour markets.

We are pleased to announce the 3^rd call for applicants Erasmus+ JMD 
*"COlour in Science and Industry (COSI)"* master programme. The 2-year 
Master Programme (120 ECTS) COSI aims to develop interdisciplinary 
trained experts in sectors encompassing colour, spectral and digital 
imaging in applied science and in applications development and analysis. 
The objective is to educate students in advanced methodologies, applied 
models and practical applications with 2 goals: enhance the 
employability and improve career prospects of graduates on one hand and 
meet the needs of industrials on the other hand.

COSI involves 4 EU HEIs as Full Partners: University Jean Monnet (UJM – 
FR) University of Granada (UGR- SP), University of Eastern 
Finland(UEF–FI), Norwegian University of Science and Technology 
(NTNU–NO); 6 Associated Industrial Partners: Olympus Corporation 
(Japan), Specim (Finland), Tecnalia (Spain), Chromasens (Germany), 
Hewlett-Packard HP (Spain), and SoftColor Ltd (Finland); 4 HEIs in Asia 
as Associated Academic Partners: Monash University, Malaysia 
(MUM-Malaysia), Chulalongkorn University (CHULA -Thailand), Toyohashi 
University of Technology (TUT-Japan) and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB 
-Indonesia); and 10 Supporting Partners.


*Mobilty*: study in three different campuses (France, Spain, and – 
depending on the concentration chosen – Norway or Finland). Download

*Scholarships & Erasmus+ JMD grants:*the JMD scholarship programme 
offers talented prospective students the unique opportunity to pursue a 
degree in COSI master programme and up to 49,000 Eur for the entire 
duration (24 months) of COSI programme (full details in 
https://master-colorscience.eu/programme/scholarships/).

The *deadline *for the COSI student “scholarships” is*March 3, 2017*.


Scholars can also apply to contribute to the COSI program.

*Awarded degrees:*successful completion of the COSI Joint Master Degree 
will result in the award of multiple Master degrees (i.e. 4 national 
diplomas issued by 4 higher education institutions from 4 European 
countries and fully recognized in these respective countries).

*Entry requirements / Eligibility criteria: *applicants must hold a 
bachelor of science (or any nationally recognized first cycle degree 
equivalent to 180 ECTS), preferably in the fields of mathematics, 
technology, engineering, computer science or physics.

*Language requirements:*the tuition language is English. COSI students 
are notably expected to produce a Master Thesis in English. A strong 
command of written and oral English is therefore requested. Applicants 
will have to demonstrate during application an English language 
proficiency equivalent to level B2 in the Common European Framework of 
Reference (CEFR). **
