Real World Eye Tracking - Advanced training in applied eye tracking
Jointly organized by Dept. of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London and Acuity Intelligence Ltd.
Supported by the BBSRC

24th and 25th April 2017 based at Royal Holloway, Egham
*       Compare several remote fixed eye-tracker and mobile eye-tracking glasses systems
*       A range of manufacturers
*       Gain hands-on experience in real-world situations
*       Meet and collaborate with users from academia and industry

The two day module on the 25 &25 April begins with the fundamentals and main issues of eye tracking and advances on to the particular challenges of applied eye tracking as well as providing an interactive opportunity for projects led by experts. It will provide hands-on experience of several types of eye-trackers and software. No previous knowledge is assumed, but the content is of a Masters level.  It would be useful for participants from all backgrounds (industry or academia) looking to make more use of their existing equipment or thinking of adding eye tracking to their research methods.

The fees are £600, and BBSRC funding allows for an academic discounted price at £200 and £80 for PhD/Masters students. Accommodation and travel will need to be arranged and paid for.
