Dear Colleagues,

We are organising the Deep Learning for Visual Computing Summer School
2017 (DLVC 2017) during 2 - 8 July 2017 at the outreach campus of
Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in Sector-III, Bidhannagar,
Kolkata, India. This event provides you with a unique opportunity to
learn about the basics of deep learning for visual computing
applications from practicing experts through 30 lectures and 15
hands-on tutorials. Also you stand the chance to win exciting prizes
to accelerate your deep learning experience by participating in the
DLVC 2017 Challenge on the last day of the program.

Topics to be covered include:

* Deep learning with neural networks

* Autoencoders

* Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN, LeNet, AlexNet, VGGNet, GoogLeNet)

* Residual connections in very deep networks (ResNets, DenseNets)

* Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)

* Hardware acceleration of deep learning

* Transfer learning of Deep Networks

* Temporal Deep Learning (TDL) on Videos

* Hand-on Tutorial on Intel Xeon Phi based HPC with Torch and Python2

This is brought at affordable registration rates with support from
AICTE, Intel and IEEE IIT Kharagpur Student Branch. Details for the
program and registration at: http://www.ee.iitkgp.ac.in/ispschool/

We encourage strong participation and deadline for the
limited number of
discounted rates early bird is 31 May 2017.

With regards,
