[visionlist] PhD position - auditory working memory using fMRI in Frankfurt, Germany

A position for a doctoral student is available at the Institute of 
Medical Psychology (IMP), Medical Faculty, Goethe University Frankfurt 
am Main, Germany.  The position is funded by German Research Foundation 
(www.dfg.de <http://www.dfg.de>). The aim of the project is to assess 
the neural correlates of auditory working memory using decoding of fMRI 
signals in humans. The PhD project will be supervised jointly by 
Christoph Bledowski and Jochen Kaiser.  The position is a fixed-term 
(3 years) 65% position, paid on the German TV E13 scale.

Key requirements: The successful applicant will have a Diploma or 
Master's degree in psychology or (cognitive) neuroscience. Essential 
skills include experience with the planning, conducting and analysis of 
cognitive neuroscience / functional brain imaging studies. Programming 
skills and experience with working memory research would be desirable.

The IMP forms part of the vibrant Frankfurt neuroscience community, 
including the modern research infrastructure of the Brain Imaging Center 
(MR and MEG). We offer strong mentorship and excellent working
