Face and Gesture 2018 (FG 2018)

** Call for Workshops **
We invite workshop proposals for the 2018 IEEE Conference on Automatic
Face and Gesture Recognition (FG 2018: http://www.fg2018.org/) in Xi’an
China. Accepted workshops will be held on either May 15 or May 19, 2018,
in the same venue as the FG 2018 main conference. We solicit workshop
proposals on any topic of interests to the FG community. Complementary
to the main venue, we especially encourage workshop proposals relating
to emerging new fields or new application domains of face and gesture
analysis and synthesis. Workshop organizers who have a strong track
record in the field are strongly encouraged to submit a proposal.

The workshop paper submission, review, acceptance notification, and
final manuscript submission must all be handled between January 28th,
2018 (deadline for submission of workshop papers) and March 4th, 2018
(camera-ready workshop paper due date). Financial support from the main
conference beyond facilitating the venue is not guaranteed and is
depending on budget. The deadline for all workshop proposals is October
2nd, 2017. Decisions will be made by October 9th, 2017.

The main conference will provide rooms, equipment, and coffee breaks for
the workshops. If necessary, poster facilities will be offered. For each
workshop one complimentary registration for a keynote speaker is
available. For any additional questions please contact the workshop
organizers.
