[visionlist] Call for papers for IC3D/Stereopsia (formerly 3d stereo media), 11-13th Dec, Brussels

Dear colleagues

IC3D is taking place again this year but with some changes. The name now stands for International conference on 3D immersion, and reflects a new emphasis for the meeting on VR and immersion. As before, the scientific conference will take place alongside a larger meeting now called Stereopsia (formally 3d stereo media), and will take place in Brussels instead of Liege.

The meeting is still technically co-sponsored by IEEE, and papers will be eligible for a prestigious Lumiere Award from the Advanced Imaging Society and the VR society. Deadline is Sept. 4th. See below for links and further information.

The 3D Film Booster is seeking innovative projects in development for 3D contents for cinema or VR devices, with an initial script and a significant international sales potential. Following an intensive, small-group, hands-on training, the producer of each selected project will fine-tune & deliver a pitch to a jury of international financiers and co-producers, and stand a chance to win a significant award.
