The 18th annual meeting of the Scottish Vision Group will be held from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th March 2018 at the Ballachulish Hotel in the Glencoe area of the Scottish Highlands. The Scottish Vision Group holds a 2-day (Fri afternoon - Sun lunchtime) conference that attracts vision scientists from Scotland, the UK, Europe and beyond. The weekend conference is aimed at sharing ideas, discussing results and facilitating  interactions concerning all aspects of Visual Perception and Vision  Science.   The total cost for the meeting including lodging and boarding (bfast/lunch/dinner) for 2 days is estimated to be around £200 pounds per person (single room) and 175 pounds per person (sharing a twin room).


You can fly to either Glasgow or Edinburgh airport.  The drive to Glencoe takes about 2.0–2.5 hrs through some very picturesque  Scottish Highland and loch-side scenery. Ride shares can potentially be organized with delegates from Scottish Universities.  The Caledonian overnight sleeper provides the option to travel directly from London Euston Station to Fort William
