Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology

The Psychology Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is recruiting a tenure-track Assistant Professor in developmental psychology to begin in August 2018. Possible areas of interest include, but are not limited to, (a) processes contributing to the development of, or individual differences in, executive function or related processes; (b) changes in executive function across the life-span; (c) relations between executive function and development in other domains; (d) interventions to improve executive function or related processes such as emotion regulation or effortful control. Candidates may focus on any point of the lifespan, but a developmental perspective is essential. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in psychology or related field and a record of achievement in scholarship and teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who bring expertise in behavioral methods, quantitative methods, brain imaging, or biological measures that complements current faculty expertise. Responsibilities include maintaining an active research program, including pursuit of external funding, and teaching graduate and undergraduate courses.
