Dear colleagues, 

This is an anticipation concerning the call for papers for the 6th Visual Science of Art Conference (VSAC, http://www.vsac2018.eu/ <http://www.vsac2018.eu/>), to be held in Trieste, Italy, on the 25-26 of August 2018. As in the past editions, the conference is a satellite of the ECVP, the European Conference on Visual Perception (https://www.ecvp2018.org <https://www.ecvp2018.org/>).

The VSAC is the place where different communities (e.g. visual artists, vision scientists, art historians, philosophers) meet and exchange ideas, findings and experiences concerning the visual arts. It is the ideal place to debate issues, to advance novel hypothesis, and to set the grounds for innovative collaborations. The VSAC invites all people that connect visual perception with the arts (e.g., empirical, experimental, philosophical, historical, phenomenological, computational approaches).

Information concerning presentation types, venues, participation fees, workshops, etc., will be posted on a regularly basis and in connection to the website’s updates.
