[visionlist] ECVP 2018 – Symposia submission extended until December 15th

[ECVP 2018]

The ECVP 2018 Organising Committee decided to extend the deadline for
symposia submissions until December 15th, 2017
(https://www.ecvp2018.org/symposia). The result of the evaluation will
be communicated by January 15th, 2018.

Symposia’s duration will be 1h30m, and 4-6 speakers can take part.
Please note that all symposium proponents and speakers will be
required to register to the Conference.

Symposia proposals addressing overlapping subjects may be requested to fuse.

Symposia proponents should not make commitments to speakers regarding
financial support.

Symposia proponents will be in charge of evaluating the abstracts
submitted to their symposium.

We encourage symposia proponents to be attentive to gender balance and
to favour the inclusion of researchers at various stages of their
career.

Symposia proponents will play a key role in the scientific quality of
the meeting: we warmly thank you in advance for your enthusiastic
proposals and your commitment to the success of ECVP 2018.

Please submit the proposal using the Symposium Proposal Form
(https://www.ecvp2018.org/symposia), in which you will be asked to
include the following information:

- the name, affiliation and e-mail address of the symposium proponent;
- the proposed symposium title;
- a list of potential speakers (proponents can take part in their own
symposium);
- a short (250 words) description of the symposium.
