Dear Collegue,

We are currently accepting submissions for our upcoming Special Issue
titled "Nanomaterials for the Neural Interfaces: State of the Art and
Future Challenges" (http://www.hindawi.com/journals/JNM/si/736136/cfp/)
which will be published in Journal of Nanomaterials (
https://www.hindawi.com/journals/jnm/) in October 2018. The Special Issue
is open to both original research articles and review articles, and the
deadline for submission is May 18, 2018.

You can find the Call for Papers at http://www.hindawi.com/
journals/JNM/si/736136/cfp/ or please find attached to this email.

This special issue provides an overview of the applications of
nanomaterials as peripheral and central nervous system interfaces; it
evaluates state-of-the-art methodologies, analyzes their limitations, and
draws attention to the possible advances that could speed up the
translation of nanomaterial-based neurotechnologies from research to
clinical applications. We encourage authors to submit original, high
quality research and perspective papers, as well as review articles.

Journal of Nanomaterials is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that aims
to bring science and applications together on nanoscale and nanostructured
materials with emphasis on synthesis, processing, characterization, and
applications of materials containing true nanosize dimensions or
nanostructures that enable novel/enhanced properties or functions. It is
directed at both academic researchers and practicing engineers. It operates
a fully open access publishing model which allows open global access to its
published content. This model is supported through Article Processing
Charges.

Please read over the journal's author guidelines at https://www.hindawi.com/
journals/jnm/guidelines/ for more information on the journal's policies and
the submission process. Authors can submit their manuscripts through the
Manuscript Tracking System at https://mts.hindawi.com/
submit/journals/jnm/nbis/

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Best regards,

Elisa Castagnola
