[visionlist] Post-doc funding opportunity in the Multisensory Research Group (Barcelona)

Dear colleague, this is to let you know about a call for a 2-y postdoctoral
position (public competitive call). If you are interested in filing an
application to work in the Multisensory Research Group at the University
Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, please let us know at

-- Basics:

Submission period: from 15.01.2018 to 28.02.2018

Time: 2 years

Salary: 32,300 Eur / Year

Complementary budget (training, conferences): 6,000Eur


-- What we are interested in:

Our research revolves around the functional and behavioral expression of
perception and attention in multisensory environments. We use
psychophysics, neuroimaging and neurostimulation. We are especially
interested in (1) the potential to predict perception based on brain
activity prior to the stimulus, (2) the interplay between attention and
multisensory integration, and (3) multisensory interactions with real-life

-- Who we are interested in:

We look for a person who has strong motivation, a background in one of the
subjects above (with a demonstrable track record of publications,
conference presentations,…), and that fits the eligibility criteria below.


-- Eligibility:

a) Having obtained your PhD degree between 1/1/2010 and 31/12/2015 (changes
allowed in the case of maternity/paternity leaves).

b) Minimum 2 years of post-doctoral experience outside Spain.

c) Maximum 12 months of work or residence in Spain within the last 3 years.
