Could you please post this.

Thank you,
Dr Margarita B. Zlatkova

Dear Colleagues,

We urgently require 21" or larger CRT monitor for peripheral colour vision experiments involving isoluminant stimuli and silent substitution method. Since we have limited budget, we would seek to buy second hand or to hire a good quality monitor.

We still have a few old CRT Sony colour monitors which performed much better than LCD in vision experiments however, they are not bright enough for our purposes and it is likely that the picture would get even dimmer with age. For our current experiments we need a good quality monitor with several key features such as good spatial and temporal resolution, luminance and colour spatial homogeneity and most importantly, high luminance and negligible viewing angle dependence. It should also be compatible with VSG cards.

Cambridge Research System advertised 22" Mitsubishi 2070SB Colour CRT on their site however, it seems that all CRTs are now sold out. Any suggestions/ sharing experience about type/brand of a monitor suitable for colour vision research will also be very much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Dr Margarita B. Zlatkova
