Master of Science in "Perceptual Science" at UNSW Sydney
Expressions of interest are now open for a Master of Science by research in perceptual science at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney, Australia). On offer is a two-year stipend equivalent to an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) for any enrolling domestic/international student (currently $27,082 AUD / year). The supported candidate will be supervised by Dr Juno Kim who is based in the School of Optometry and Vision Science. Additional supervisors based at UNSW and elsewhere may also be involved as appropriate.
The supported candidate will already have completed:
i) a four-year Bachelor degree with honours at UNSW (first class or equivalent) in Psychology, Vision Science, Computer Science, or other related field; or
ii) a Masters by Research degree at UNSW with a substantial research component and demonstrated capacity for timely completion of a high-quality research thesis in one of the fields listed in (i); or
iii) an equivalent qualification from a tertiary institution at a level considered equivalent by the Higher Degree Committee (HDC) at UNSW.
Previous research experience in perceptual science or vision science or related field, and experience conducting psychophysical research would be highly desirable.
