*DESCRIPTION*

Responsible for conducting EEG-rTMS experiments, set up EEG recordings
(prepare participants for the EEG recording and set up the EEG cap), apply
single pulse, paired pulse and repetitive TMS. Conduct testing on
experimental apparatus using hardware and software, and analyzing test
data. Work with engineering staff to address improper function of
hardware/software.

Responsible for research participation management conducting screen testing
with participants, archival of research participation documentation, assist
PI with research protocols compliance.

Responsible for independent management of the EEG and TMS database and
perform data analysis using EEGLab built-in functions. Develop MatLab
scripts, create graphs to include data from subjects to incorporate into
reports, papers and presentations.

Review related scientific literature, assist PI with bibliography
management, and participate in laboratory meetings.



*QUALIFICATIONS*

Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in Cognitive Neuroscience or
related field, or an equivalent combination of education and laboratory
work experience, providing sound theoretical and practical knowledge.

Experience with Matlab or Python.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and in writing.

Experience with EEG experimentation.

Demonstrated ability to perform tests on experimental apparatus and
facilities, and to correct problems that may arise during experimentation.

Demonstrated ability to perform research literature and consult with
researchers to develop new protocols for the lab.

Experience preparing data for analysis, preferably using EEGLAB built-in
functions.

Experience in a neuroimaging research lab.


*SPECIAL CONDITIONS*

Background check required.

Must be able to work overtime when required.

This is a One Year 100% Career Position due to funding, with the
