We are pleased to announce that the conference on Human Vision and 
Electronic Imaging (HVEI) has a new sponsor:   nVidia corporation has 
generously agreed to provide a new Titan GPU as the prize for the best 
paper award!   The September 8th deadline is fast approaching...


The conference on Human Vision and Electronic Imaging (HVEI) is part of 
the Symposium on Electronic Imaging 
<http://www.imaging.org/site/IST/IST/Conferences/EI/Symposium_Overview.aspx>, 
which will be held in Burlingame, California, USA, on January 14-17, 
2019.  HVEI brings together scientists and engineers from academia and 
industry, with the goals of informing industry how it can benefit from 
vision science, and exposing researchers to applied problems.
