As part of the ORA project “Control of Attention by the Motor System: A
Motor Bias Theory of Attention” (for further information, please visit
http://motorbiasproject.com/) a “Symposium on Cognitive and Motor
Processes in Spatial Attention” will be held at Durham University on
11th/12th of July 2019.
The aim of this workshop is to offer an opportunity for scientific
exchange with regard to the main purpose of our project: the exploration
of how visual spatial attention is guided by interacting processes of
motor control and working memory.
We cordially invite you to participate in order to further explore and
discuss this topic with scholars working in this field of research.
The workshop will include keynote lectures held by:
Prof. Marisa Carrasco (New York University)
Prof. Christian Olivers (VU University Amsterdam)
As well as talks by other leading scholars, including:
Dr. Teuni Ten Brink (Utrecht University)
Prof. Thérèse Collins (Paris Descartes University)
