Location; New York, New York.

Description
New York University's Center for Neural Science is looking for a Senior Laboratory Associate who will be able to fulfill the following duties:

Learn and conduct experimental procedures and data analysis.
Learn and perform laboratory procedures and keep stocked inventory of lab supplies.
Help to ensure that the laboratory is safe and in compliance with regulations.
Learn mouse husbandry and manage mouse colony.
Learn and perform mouse stereotaxic surgeries.
Help build and maintain experimental equipment.
Assistance with electrophysiological measurements.
Behavioral training and testing of research animals.
Assistance with grant applications, ordering, laboratory paperwork and animal protocols
Qualifications
Required Education: BS or MS (preferred); minimum 5 years experience with the expectation of
a career path at the senior rank. Demonstrated competence in research support activities, attested
to by advanced training or extensive experience.
