*POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITION in MEDICAL IMAGE ANALYSIS*

We are offering a *post-doctoral research position in medical image
analysis* at the Clinical Image Analysis Laboratory, Center for Biomedical
Informatics, Wake Forest School of Medicine. The position is open
immediately.

*The Clinical Image Analysis Lab* develops image analysis systems for
computer-assisted interpretation of radiological, microscopic and
photographic images to help radiologists, pathologists, and biologists. The
current projects are supported in part by the National Institutes of
Health, National Cancer Institute. The list of ongoing projects and recent

The post-doctoral researcher will work in a collaborative and supportive
environment to develop and validate image analysis algorithms and software.
Familiarity with MATLAB®, experience and background in image processing and
analysis, pattern recognition, and/or computer-vision algorithms and
software are expected from successful applicants. Experience with medical
imaging and analysis is desirable but not a requirement. This position is
available for up to two years, and can be extended further based on
performance.
