The UC Riverside Brain Game Center for Mental Fitness and Well-being is looking to hire a new Research Coordinator to work on a variety of research studies funded by the NIH addressing how to measure and train cognitive abilities such as vision, hearing, memory, executive function, etc.  The lab manager will assist with organization of research projects, subject recruitment, participate in data collection, coordinate between test sites, and work with post-docs, graduate students and investigators, code data and conduct preliminary analyses, train and mentor undergraduate research assistants, etc.

Required and desired skills:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Psychology or Neuroscience).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate well with others and excellent customer service skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
Demonstrated ability to organize work, attention to detail, and to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to use a computer and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Google forms.
 
Experience with perceptual and cognitive testing, and ideally intervention studies.
Knowledge in experiment programming (e.g. Python, R, Matlab, SQL, E-Prime, UNITY, C#).
Statistics training (including basic hypothesis testing as well as more advanced Frequentist techniques) and skills using Matlab, R, SPSS, JMP, SAS, STATA, JASP or equivalent statistics software.
Previous experience working on large-scale research projects that involve active data collection and analyses.
