This post is an academic-industrial collaboration with Bayer AG to identify novel therapeutic targets for heart disease using high-throughput analysis of imaging and genetic data. This offers an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting-edge of machine learning in medicine – driving discoveries to improve patient treatment and outcomes. This is part of a program of research at the MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences and Imperial College London developing computer vision techniques and statistical methods to understand the molecular mechanisms of inherited heart diseases. For more information please visit http://digital-heart.org/ and https://biomedia.doc.ic.ac.uk/.

This commercially-funded project aims to develop novel approaches for high-throughput quantitative phenotyping of up to 100,000 subjects in UK Biobank with cardiac MR imaging. The post will be focussed on developing fully automated and efficient approaches for whole-heart segmentation and co-registration - specifically with high-temporal resolution motion tracking.

We are seeking a talented and highly skilled postdoctoral researcher with a background in medical image analysis and machine learning. The candidate should have a record of accomplishment in image segmentation.
