qual­i­fic­a­tion period (PhD can­did­ate, duration: 5 years)

part-time employ­ment may be pos­sible

Work­ing field:
Research and teach­ing; image and video ana­lysis, Act­ive Vis­ion,
image-based 3D object recon­struc­tion sup­por­ted by shape mod­els;
learn­ing and mod­els in human vis­ion and machine vis­ion

Require­ments:
Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or
equi­val­ent) in Com­puter Sci­ence or Com­puter Engin­eer­ing; very
good pro­gram­ming skills, intens­ive up-to-date know­ledge and
exper­i­ence in com­puter vis­ion, pat­tern recog­nition and applied
math­em­at­ics; interest in cooper­a­tion with nat­ural sci­entific and
socio-sci­entific groups; good com­mand of the Ger­man and Eng­lish
lan­guage desired
