Dear Color community and color colleagues,

Next September 2019 will take place the XII Spanish Color Conference 
<https://www.baobabeventos.com/xiicnc> in Linares (Spain). The XII 
Spanish Color Conference is a multidisciplinary forum that has the aim 
to promote the contact between researchers a professionals of different 
disciplines around Color. The Conference covers the following topics:

  * Science and Technology of Color
  * Perception of Color
  * Color in Art and Architecture
  * Analysis and synthesis of images in Color
  * Technology and applications of the multispectral image
  * Color in food
  * Color in lighting
  * Color in the industry
  * Color and Education

The Conference will take place in the city of Linares, recognized as an 
interior tourism destination linked to Gastronomy and Historical Mining 
Heritage. The new Technological Scientific Campus of Linares and the 
facilities of the Higher Polytechnic School of Linares (EPSL) have been 
chosen, as a place to hold all the activities of the Conference. 
Additionally, the social program prepared, will allow to know the 
monumental environment constituted by the cities of Úbeda and Baeza 
(World Heritage).

*Structure |* The Conference is structured in morning sessions on the 
25th, 26th and 27th and during afternoon also on the 26th. Apart from 
the Plenary Conferences, there will be also posters and oral 
communications. All communications will be published in the Proceedings. 
These interventions will be organized by topics in the different

*Submissions |* Deadline for submitting proposals ends next April 30th. 
You can send your communications using the official template (attached 
to this email) thorough the platform in the website. In addition to the 
complete communication, an abstract should be provided through the 
platform where objectives, methodology used and results of the research 
will be included in a maximum length of 300 words and must indicate 
their preference of participation modality (oral communication or poster).

  * All accepted communications will be published in the Proceedings Book.
  * To present a communication, either as a poster or oral, it will be a
    requirement that at least one of the authors of the communication
    (the author who will present the work) is registered in the Conference.
  * You can not send more than one communication with the same first author.
  * There will be a special mention for the best oral and poster
    communications.

*Registration |* To complete your registration you must fill in the 
mandatory fields of the registration form available on the Conference 
website. The registration fee could be paid by bank transfer or by 
credit card.

The registration fee for all applications formalized before September 
1st are:

  * Membership of SEDOPTICA: € 350
  * General Fee: € 550
  * Student partners of SEDOPTICA: € 140
  * Students NOT members of SEDOPTICA: € 170
  * Companions: € 160
  * Members of the Associazione Italiana Colore, Associação Portuguesa
    da Cor, and Centre Français de la Couleur can benefit of a reduced
    registration price (similar to the SEDOPTICA members).

Registrations formalized from September 1st onward will have a surcharge 
of € 80. The registration fee includes the attendance to all the 
presentations and communications announced in the program as well as the 
lunches and coffee breaks provided during the conference. It also 
includes participating the guided visits and the Congress dinner. The 
companion fee includes the same as attendees fee except documentation, 
accreditation and welcome material.

*Important dates |* Remember the following deadlines to plan your 
participation:

  * October, 9: Opening of registration and reception of abstracts.
  * April, 30: Limit of receipt of abstracts.
  * July, 1: Communication to the authors.
  * September, 1: Early registration limit.
  * September, 25-27: Conference.
