2 Postdoctoral Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowships (of 2 years) are
available in the computer vision group GRAM (
http://agamenon.tsc.uah.es/Investigacion/gram/ ) at the University of
Alcalá ( http://www.uah.es/en/ ), in Spain.

The topics of the two postdoc positions are as follows:

1) Efficient and smart transportation and mobility. In particular, the
candidate will address the problem of deploying vehicle counting
models for monitoring traffic congestions over a large-scale network
of video surveillance cameras.

2) Fine-grained Online Activity Detection for Smart Transportation and
Mobility. The main target of this project is to develop robust
solutions for automatic activity detection in extended videos.
Typically, an advanced intelligent transportation system needs to work
with long videos, that normally arrive in an online fashion. These
extended videos contain significant spans without any activities and
intervals with potentially multiple concurrent fine grained
activities.

Candidates are expected to have a strong background in deep learning
and computer vision. A solid publication record in top-tier computer
vision and machine learning conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, BMVC, ICML,
NIPS, ICLR) is also expected.

If interested, please directly contact me, Prof. Roberto López-Sastre
(robertoj.lopez at uah.es). Attach to the email a copy of your CV WITH a
list including all your publications.
