[visionlist] postdoc (2 years), computational psychophysics, Paris (ENS), PI's: Neri/Ostojic

A 2-year experimental/computational postdoctoral position is available at
the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. This is a collaborative project
between the Neri (https://sites.google.com/site/neripeter/) and Ostojic (
https://lnc2.dec.ens.fr/en/member/655/srdjan-ostojic) laboratories. It
involves extensive psychophysical characterization of human visual
processes underlying both low-level and higher-level visual tasks within a
unified framework (e.g.
http://journals.plos.org/plosbiology/article?id=10.1371/journal.pbio.1002611),
combined with computational modelling of the experimental data using neural
networks with both feedforward and recurrent architectures (e.g.
https://www.cell.com/neuron/fulltext/S0896-6273(18)30543-9).

The ideal candidate would be a psychophysicist with a strong genuine
interest in computational neuroscience, or the other way around. Above all,
we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is willing and able to
learn the skills that are needed to answer the questions we will be asking.
