Applications are invited for two postdoctoral positions at the University of Nevada, Reno for projects utilizing a battery of psychophysical and neuroimaging approaches to characterize processes of long- and short-term adaptation and compensation in color and form perception. Applicants should have prior training in vision science or related areas and good programming and quantitative skills. Experience in fMRI, HD-EEG, or adaptive optics would be an advantage. UNR has a strong vision group that is part of a large and vibrant neuroscience community. Researchers have excellent access to a wide variety of facilities for neuroimaging and virtual and augmented reality through the Center for Integrative Neuroscience (an NIH COBRE award). Reno sits at the base of the Eastern Sierras, minutes from Lake Tahoe and major ski resorts, and offers unlimited outdoor recreation and a unique and fun culture.
