This meeting will bring researchers working in medical image perception and adjacent fields of cognition and perception together with clinicians across a variety of cancer image specialties (radiology, pathology, etc.). Through our efforts, we ultimately seek to advance the study of medical image interpretation by identifying research gaps and critical unsolved problems, barriers to collaboration between researchers and clinicians, and potential solutions to these issues. We will also pinpoint resource needs that NCI could address. The meeting will be organized around short presentations, active scientific deliberation, and consensus building.

While in-person attendance is closed due to space limitations, we invite the research community to listen in via WebEx. Remote attendees will have opportunities to submit questions and comments throughout the meeting.
