Faculty Position in Department of Psychology, Northeastern University
Area: Vision Science
The Psychology Department in the College of Science at Northeastern
University (https://cos.northeastern.edu/psychology/) invites applications
for a tenure-track faculty position in fundamental/translational vision
science to start in the fall of 2020 at the rank of Assistant Professor. We
welcome applications from any area of visual perception, broadly construed,
but are especially interested in candidates whose work integrates
experimental and computational approaches.
Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
and conducting an independent, externally funded research program.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field by the
start of the appointment and a record of research commensurate with rank.
Candidates should have experience in, or be able to demonstrate a
commitment to, working with diverse student populations and/or in a
culturally diverse work and educational environment.
