Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellow position in UCL Attention and Cognitive Control laboratory at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, supervised by Prof Nilli Lavie in collaboration with Prof Maria Chait. The project is funded by Toyota and the research focus would be on Sustained Attention States using EEG combined with behavioural and eye tracking measures of attention, working memory and perception.
The post-holder will be responsible for the design and running of behavioural, neuroimaging and other cognitive neuroscience experiments in humans, as well as for recording, analysing and writing up the results.
The position is funded for one year, in the first instance and available to start as soon as the post is filled.
The successful applicant should have a PhD in cognitive neuroscience or related area. Experience in neuroimaging (preferably using the methods of EEG or MEG) as well as knowledge of a range of relevant research techniques and scientific literature is essential for the post. The applicant should have research skills applicable to this area of research, and a proven ability to analyse and write up data.
