Title:
Vision based 3D shape tracking of deformable objects under robotic manipulation.

Location:
SIGMA Clermont, Institut Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand, France

Subject:
Candidate expected to develop a fast and robust method for inferring
and tracking 3D shapes of deformable objects.
The method will be mainly based on visual sensing. Tactile and force
sensors will be used as complementary sensing.
The method can use either or both of model-based (e.g., geometry,
physics) and learning-based (e.g., deep learning) approaches.
PhD and Postdoc positions are available for this subject.

Requirements:
- Strong background on 3D computer vision.
- Good publications record on computer vision and robotics.

Applying to the position:
-Please insert "your CV" and "2 reference contacts" and "your
published best paper" into a single pdf file.
-Name the file with your name as "name_surname_phd" or "name_surname_postdoc".
-Then send this single pdf file to: youcef.mezouar at sigma-clermont.fr,
juan.corrales at sigma-clermont.fr and erol.ozgur at sigma-clermont.fr
with [3D shape tracking application] as email subject.
