Final call for papers: Coding strategies in binocular vision and stereopsis
Vision Research invites contributions for a special issue entitled “Coding strategies in binocular vision and stereopsis”. The special issue will emphasize new ideas and evidence pertaining to general strategies of coding in binocular vision and stereopsis. The focus will be on how information from the two eyes is integrated, and how this information may be optimized for coding efficiency to serve functions such as binocular summation, binocular difference detection and stereopsis. We invite original research articles as well as mini-reviews from any methodological domain, e.g. psychophysics, neurophysiology, brain-imaging, theoretical neuroscience and computational modelling.
The special issue will be edited by Frederick Kingdom, Jenny Read, Paul Hibbard and Keith May. The deadline for submissions is December 31st 2019, with a view to publication in April 2019. Note however that articles submitted to special issues in Vision Research are published as soon as they are accepted.
