Applications are invited for a 3-year PhD student position (65%, salary
according to TV-L 13) in the Neuro-cognitive Psychology lab (head: Prof.
Dr. Werner Schneider) at Bielefeld University, Germany.
The PhD student will work in the research project "Attentional
intensity: Phasic alertness in visual perception" that is supervised by
Dr. Christian Poth. The project aims to shed light on how visual and
auditory warning signals can boost visual perception. To this end, the
project uses a range of methods from cognitive psychology,
psychophysics, eye tracking, and pupillometry.
