Is your color research perceptual? Consider JPI-first for perception-based research. Color is a major focus of the new, open-access, Journal of Perceptual Imaging (JPI). If your research or work explores the principles of perception and cognition and/or how emerging technologies are driving perceptual research, we invite you to submit your abstract by 1 April 2020, for the IS&T Twenty-eighth Color and Imaging Conference (CIC28). Color Perception | Capture, Display, and Print | Material Appearance and Color | Color Theory | Image Quality | Color in Illumination and Lighting | Multispectral Imaging | Specific Color Applications
Authors have the option to submit either a traditional conference paper or Journal-ﬁrst paper to either the Journal of Imaging Science and Technology (JIST) or the Journal of Perceptual Imaging (JPI).
Journal-first (JPI or JIST): 1 April 2020
Conference Paper: 26 April 2020
Final Manuscript: 7 September 2020
Workshops occur the afternoon of Tuesday, 3 November and are scheduled for 2.5 hours. Email your proposal to color at imaging.org. Please put “CIC28 Workshop Proposal” and your last name in the subject line.
Submit workshop proposals by 1 April 2020.
