We are delighted to announce that the Division of AIDS, Behavioral and Population Sciences (DABP) is actively looking to hire Scientific Review Officers (SROs) with expertise in social and behavioral sciences to join the Center for Scientific Review (CSR).  The SROs play pivotal roles in the NIH peer review process by working with the scientific community to ensure that the scientific review group identifies the most meritorious science. Candidates suitable for an SRO position at DABP should have an PhD, DrPH, MD, ScD (or equivalent doctoral degree) in the biomedical or behavioral sciences, and extensive training and experience in research either in academia, industry, or other research institutions.  Candidates with substantial research experience, familiarity with NIH extramural funding as an applicant, reviewer, or NIH scientific administrator is a plus; good written and oral communication skills are essential.
