We are pleased to announce the launch of 

CookGAN, the recipe-to-image synthesis tool

We have developed this tool to help people become creative about their (virtual) cooking skills, but also as a research project to demonstrate the feasibility of creating realistic food imagery of complex structure from descriptions of the meal’s preparation process (i.e., a recipe).   This is an initial phase of the project, limited to three meal categories.

Our research team is keen to receive your feedback and thoughts on this project.  We encourage you to play with the demo at http://foodai.cs.rutgers.edu.
