The Computational Vision Lab at Bates College is seeking two highly
motivated post-baccalaureate lab managers for a 2-year full-time NSF-funded
position. The selected candidates will be involved in running studies,
training students in data collection and analysis, organizing IRB
documents, and managing scheduling of data collection.

The position is available starting immediately. Applications should include

*Qualifications*

The ideal candidate for this position will have a recent graduate in
neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, computer science, or math. A
successful candidate for the position must have:


   - Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills.


   - A curious mind; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
   ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.


   - Desire to work with collaborators across disciplines. Strong
   interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain collegial
   relationships.  Must be flexible, collaborative and have a positive
   attitude.


   - Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with
   minimal supervision and within established guidelines.


   - Impeccable organizational (time, task, project management) skills.


   - Proficiency in basic data management systems and basic computer
   applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Programming experience in
   Python, R, and/or Matlab is highly desirable.


   - Willingness and ability to learn additional applications as needed.


   - Ability and willingness to travel (by car, air, train or bus)
   domestically and internationally as needed.


   - Personal commitment to excellence and the mission of a top-tier small
   liberal arts college.


   - Demonstrated ability to work productively in a diverse and
   multi-disciplinary academic and research environment.


   - Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusivity and to serving
   the needs of a culturally and educationally diverse and inclusive community
   with diplomacy and tact.


   - Successful completion of a criminal background check.
