*JUNIOR LEADER FELLOWSHIPS AT THE MULTISENSORY RESEARCH GROUP, UNIVERSITAT
POMPEU FABRA, BARCELONA*
We welcome expressions of interest for the Postdoctoral Junior Leader
fellowships programme projects in the *Multisensory Research Group*, at the
Center for Brain and Cognition (CBC), Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
The Postdoctoral Junior Leader
<https://fundacionlacaixa.org/en/investigacion-y-becas/becas-de-la-caixa/posdoctorado-junior-leader/descripcion-del-programa>
is a fellowship programme (deadline Oct 7th, 2020) from La Caixa, aimed at
hiring excellent researchers, of any nationality, who wish to continue
their research career in Excellent Research Centers in Spain and Portugal.
They seek to support the best scientific talent by providing them with an
attractive, competitive environment in which to conduct excellent research.
The Multisensory Research Group <https://www.upf.edu/web/mrg> projects
address basic as well as more real-life oriented questions in the Cognitive
Neuroscience field. The particular focus is on the behavioural and neural
mechanisms that underlie perception, attention and memory processes across
several sensory domains in humans. We make use of behavioural and brain
imaging techniques, including EEG and TMS.
We seek *highly motivated researchers* with min 2 to max 7 years
post-doctoral experience prior to deadline. The candidate should be
interested in the oscillatory dynamics of neural activity that can
anticipate or predict the outcome of cognitive and perceptual processes.
Experience in EEG or signal processing of physiological signals is
necessary. Skills or a background in Brain Computer Interfaces, real-time
EEG analysis, and trial-to-trial offline analysis will be valued. The
candidate is expected to make original contributions along these lines,
mounting on previous group findings and expertise. See related publications
below.
The Junior Leader Fellowships offer a 3 year full-time contract with a
42K€/year gross salary, research costs of 38K€/year, and mobility allowance
if applicable (up to 5.4K€). Please, take a look at the full program
description for more information:

If you are interested in applying with the Multisensory Research Group,
send an expression of interest with a CV and a short motivation letter,
including the names of two academic referees to projectes.cbc at upf.edu.
Specify “Junior Leader MRG” in the subject of the message. Please contact
before October 1st, 2020.
IMPORTANT: Check that you fulfil all the eligibility criteria
<https://fundacionlacaixa.org/en/investigacion-y-becas/becas-de-la-caixa/posdoctorado-junior-leader/descripcion-del-programa.>
(experience and mobility) in any of the two subprograms (incoming,
retaining). To direct enquiries about the application process itself, or
any other questions about the fellowship you can email the funding agency
