*** Call for applications: PhD studies funded by EUTOPIA European 
University Program ***

The Department of Computer Science, University of Warwick, UK, and the 
Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, 
are looking for a strong candidate to join both universities as a PhD 
student to work in the area of computer vision and deep learning. 
Specifically, trajectory forecasting in a multi-camera setting for 
person detection, tracking and re-identification purposes.

This opening is in response to the 2021 EUTOPIA PhD Co-tutelle Program 
Call to sponsoring high-quality PhD projects co-supervised by academics 
of the EUTOPIA member universities. More details may be found on 
https://eutopia.smapply.io/res/p/CTDOCS/. One selected candidate will be 
nominated for the EUTOPIA PhD funding scheme and upon successfully 
securing funds, will be enrolled in both universities and split their 
time equally in both institutions. However, University of Warwick will 
be considered as the main host institution. The PhD degree will be 
granted by the two institutions as a joint degree.

Interested candidates in joining the program are invited to send the

+ Cover letter/ letter of motivation briefly describing the motivation 
for the application.
+ Detailed CV highlighting any experience in image/video processing, 
computer vision and deep learning.
+ The names and contact details of at least two referees willing to 
provide support letters.

Computer Science and Electrical Engineering are specially encouraged to
